Principal's Message

Greetings Threadgill Elementary Tiger Family!

Welcome to the 2020 – 2021 school year! It is with great joy and excitement that I greet you as principal of Threadgill Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to lead a school with such a rich tradition of education and Tiger pride. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than nineteen years. I have worked with a variety of students’ ranging in age from kindergarten through high school. I am excited and eager to work with each of you as partners in education to ensure the success of our students.

I firmly believe that every child can succeed and that the cooperation between home and school builds trust and self-esteem in students. Our students can use their highest potential to shape their future, consequently, the future of our community and our nation. With my goal of continuing to advance the culture of excellence here at Threadgill Elementary School, I am devoted to continually exploring new ideas to meet the needs of all students and to interact with parents and community members more efficiently. We will be meeting as a staff, and with parents and students throughout the year to identify specific goals in the areas of student achievement, school climate, and parent communication.

In closing, please know that my door is always open to you. I heartily welcome your conversation and positive input throughout this year. I will always keep our students the primary focus of my work. I look forward to celebrating our collective successes during this upcoming school year.

Warm regards,

Valerie R. Williams,

Principal
